For starters, life is complicated when you can't sleep. All you have time for is day/night dreaming and wasting your time watching life go on for centuries of change. The saying "time goes by when your having fun" hasn't ever past threw Adalias mind, neither has it gone threw the voice in her mind that troubles her and causes the thoughts of vampire suicide... She indulges on vitamin D and feeds off of the dead bodies in the hospital. Not your average vampire eh? But dont go judging her she'll kick your ass in all things physical and mental.
